Schools, charities and communities

Friendly AI learning that starts with people.

We make room for beginners, questions and different ways of learning. Sessions can help people use AI more confidently while recognising scams, deepfakes, privacy risks and mistakes.

Choose the right group

Teachers, staff and volunteers

Explore approved tools, safe information sharing, useful tasks and when a person must stay involved.

Students and young people

Use age-appropriate examples to practise checking information, protecting privacy and thinking critically. We agree supervision and safeguarding arrangements with the school first.

Charity and community members

Build confidence with everyday AI, creativity, learning and CV support. Discuss fakes, scams and cyber safety without fear or jargon.

AI learning for your school

A one-page guide to the benefits and included follow-up, with transparent pricing across all schools. Travel is not included. Enter your school email to open the PDF in a new tab, ready to download.

Use your school-issued work address, not a personal email.

We save your email and request time privately to administer the download and understand interest. Requests are queued for our private Google tracker. Requesting a PDF won’t subscribe you to future marketing emails. Privacy notice.

What to expect from a workshop

One or two practical days · Beginner-friendly · No coding

Ask about a workshop

Right fit if

  • People need guided practice, not only an explanation
  • You can agree approved tools and safe example tasks
  • You want to learn what helps a real role or department

Not the right fit if

  • You need production software or an AI agent delivered
  • Your organisation cannot agree safe tools or information boundaries yet

A typical agenda

  1. Agree goals, approved tools and a starting measure in discovery
  2. Explain the essentials in plain English
  3. Practise on fictional or approved role-based examples
  4. Check results, discuss human approval and agree next steps

Included after the session

A 30-day check-in and a 90-day review help us see what changed, discuss concerns and agree a next step. We then provide a short findings and recommendations report. These are included at no extra charge; office hours offer extra help between check-ins. The report reflects evidence available and does not promise a financial return.

A tailored workshop begins with paid discovery. Eligible schools, charities and community groups can ask about reduced workshop and discovery rates. Start-up companies are eligible for discounted rates. Companies with fewer than 20 people are also eligible. We confirm the scope, discount and fee in writing before you decide.

Example programme · One or two days

What could your beginner workshop look like?

No previous AI experience or coding knowledge is needed. We start with everyday tasks, safe examples and plenty of room for questions.

This is an example, not a fixed syllabus. We add or remove topics to suit your chosen priorities, package, organisation and available time. We agree the focus and pace during discovery; this example is not a promise to cover everything.

Discovery you can use, whether or not you book

Discovery gives you practical findings and recommendations to keep, whether or not you book further training. If you book a one- or two-day workshop, we deduct the discovery fee you paid from the agreed workshop price.

The credit applies to online and in-person one- and two-day workshops, including discounted school, charity, community and small-business bookings. Talks do not need paid discovery. Half-day workshops retain their separately agreed discovery and delivery fees.

Support if you stop after discovery

If you do not proceed to a workshop, we include check-ins 30 and 90 days after discovery to discuss progress, questions and whether the findings have helped clarify your priorities, tool choices and next steps. If you proceed to training, we agree the workshop-based follow-up timetable instead, without duplicating programmes. These conversations do not include implementation services or guarantee results.

Travel is additional for all in-person delivery and agreed in writing before booking. Online sessions have no travel charge.

01 · Make sense of the tools

  • Compare a chatbot, a chatbot connected to tools, and an agent that can plan steps, use tools and respond to results.
  • Write clear instructions and check an answer. Discuss mistakes, bias, privacy and when a person must decide.

02 · Try a useful, safe task

  • Practise with fictional information: for example, draft a lesson activity, prepare a meeting brief or organise sample notes.
  • Explore approved connections to documents and cloud tools. Check what information the tool can access and what permissions it needs.

03 · Build a repeatable workflow

  • Turn one task into clear steps: the input, instructions, checks and final human approval.
  • Compare a workflow with reusable instructions or capabilities, sometimes called skills. Explore helpers such as Gems where suitable.
  • Choose what can be automated, what should only be assisted and what must remain a human decision.

04 · Watch an agent at work

  • Use an approved demonstration to see how an agent plans, acts and checks its progress.
  • Discuss its freedom to act, permissions, stopping points and human review. Demonstrations may use ChatGPT agent mode or Gemini in Google Drive and Docs, where available and approved.

05 · Give the work clear roles

  • Try planning, creating and reviewing roles, such as a curriculum planner, learning designer and reviewer for a school example.
  • Where useful, demonstrate several agents sharing a task and bringing their outputs together. Compare this with a simpler workflow: more agents do not automatically mean better work.

06 · Create a small prototype

  • If this is an agreed priority, use conversation-led coding to make a small game, simulator or generator in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Save and test the prototype on your computer, improve it through feedback and agree what needs checking before anyone else uses it. This is a learning prototype, not production software.

What most workshops include

  • Paid discovery: agree priorities, approved tools and a starting point. The fee paid is credited towards a one- or two-day workshop.
  • Guided exercises with fictional data, human checks and time for questions.
  • A practical next step and an agreed way to review progress, quality and capacity, not just speed.
  • A 30-day check-in and a 90-day review, followed by a findings and recommendations report, at no extra charge.

Tool access, subscriptions, device requirements and the session scope are agreed before booking. We do not ask people to connect live accounts or use confidential information in an exercise.

Talk or workshop?

A talk to start a conversation

A friendly 45–60 minute introduction with examples and questions. No paid workshop discovery is needed.

A workshop to practise

Guided exercises shaped around the group’s needs. Discovery is the paid preparation stage where we agree your priorities, safe examples and any access requirements.

Both formats include a 30-day check-in, a 90-day review and a short findings report at no extra charge. Office hours are available as additional support between those points.

Eligible schools, charities and community groups can ask about reduced rates for both the workshop and its discovery. Start-up companies are eligible for discounted rates. Companies with fewer than 20 people are also eligible. We confirm what is included, the discount and the fee in writing.
